KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, FL -- As the countdown to the digital switch winds down, TV service companies are receiving an increased number of calls for help.

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- As we get closer to the big DTV switch, we are finding that many are ready. But the questions linger, why is it necessary? Is my analog television obsolete? And does the pro really outweigh the con of going all digital?

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Several workshops held by the Federal Communications Commission are scheduled for this week. The goal is to make sure that everyone on the First Coast is DTV ready.

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- For the past year the Federal Communications Commission has urged consumers with older televisions to purchase a DTV Converter box. The box prepares them for the digital switch, by allowing the digital signal to pass through their analog tuner.

DALLAS, TX -- Complaints have started to come in about the government coupon program designed to help people get ready for the switch to digital television.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hispanics are nearly twice as likely as whites to be left without television service following the nationwide transition to digital broadcasting next year, according to a new survey.
